I don’t have many predictions as to what will or will not happen this season. However, I am positive that I will not purchase nor consume anything referred to as a “Mexidog”. The mental image is just too much.
So I know we’re concerned about McLouth but are we still lackadaisically watching Chipper hit into double plays?
March 13th, 2010 at 3:43 pm
One Mexidog, ranchero style, por favor!

Princess Leah, you’re coming awfully close to being validated in your call for Damon. Our lead off guy is falling apart and…
“Johnny Damon had an impact in his first game against his old team with an RBI single as part of a three-run second inning and a solo homer to lead off a three-run fifth.”

New show tomorrow night
March 13th, 2010 at 11:54 pm
Uh-huh…there will be no livin’ with me if Damon has a great season. Happy daylight savings everybody. Ugh.

Which game to listen to…wish I could listen to both at the same time.

Morton pitched 4 innings against the Yanks today. Gave up one hit.
McLouth struck out two more times. 10 strike outs in 21 at bats? .043?
They’ll give us Gorkys and Locke back, right?
March 14th, 2010 at 5:24 pm
Our man’s gettin’ on base.

I’m sorry, which Brave did you say has the third highest OBP? I couldn’t quite read the chart. Just curious.

“I felt really good today,” he said. “Obviously the wind was howling out, but I’ll take ‘em both….
Braves manager Bobby Cox called McCann’s home runs “bullets; those weren’t aided by the wind.”
Not unless you were managing for the pitcher who gave them up. I mean, come on. Doesn’t he ever want to be taken seriously?
He also says Kawakami had one of his best games today. The double down the line “wasn’t hit hard.” He’s actually starting to gross me out a little bit with this. Is it supposed to be classy when you belittle what the players on the other team do as just luck? And all our hits are rocket-bullet-thunder-smacks? Yuck.

Prin. cess. Le. Ah. I. do. not. dislike. Martin. Prado.
March 14th, 2010 at 5:51 pm
Ugh. Sorry for grump-a-thon. Rough day.
Go Braves!
March 14th, 2010 at 5:58 pm
I know Mr. D. I have to give you a hard time. BC’s gonna get old if he keeps this up all season. Not to mention the Gomer Pyle grin that will become permanent. Everybody loves to play for him for a reason.
March 14th, 2010 at 7:13 pm
No show tonight – pushed back to tomorrow night.
March 14th, 2010 at 7:20 pm
Thanks, Steve.
