I was lobbying for the Braves to go and get Willis last year. I’m sure he could have been had for nothing with the Tigers eating a lot of contract. Guy has too much stuff and demeanor not to get it together and would loved to have seen the Braves benefit from that rebirth. Good for him either way.

If I’m understanding this, the Twins just shelled out an amount equal to 35% of their entire 2009 payroll for one player.

Just finished up with DOB. And it was a terrific interview. Lots of great stuff about the team and his blog. Ham and I were pretty fired up about it when it was over. Show will be up in an hour or so.
